Hōkūleʻa Captain Kālepa Baybayan extends a mahalo to his crew of Leg 25 for a successful 1,100 miles voyaged from Virginia to Florida.

On Day 24 of Leg 25, the canoe sails into Miami, completing the travel for this leg of the voyage.

In these 4 days of Leg 25, the canoe and crew sail from South Carolina, passing through Georgia to enter Florida. While sailing on Thanksgiving, they received many hō‘ailona from dolphins, birds and fellow sailors.
