Hawaii to Tahiti – Update #10

On June 15, 2014, at approximately 4:00pm Hawaii Standard Time, the voyaging canoes Hōkūleʻa and Hikianalia spotted the Tuamotu archipelago. This is the first landfall since the waʻa left Hilo, Hawaiʻi on May 30. Hōkūleʻa and Hikianalia will soon travel to Papeete, Tahiti.
