Mālama Honua Fair & Summit

In celebration of Hōkūleʻa’s Homecoming after voyaging around Island Earth, Polynesian Voyaging Society invites our local and global community members to gather for a three-day summit to discuss mālama honua stories of hope inspired by the Worldwide Voyage and develop sail plans for the future of Hawaiʻi and our planet.

Daily 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Open to Public

The general public is invited to walk through exhibits, participate in hands-on activities, and learn from our local and global partners who are taking action to mālama honua.

Youth Summit

Polynesian Voyaging Society is collaborating with the World Youth Congress to host a Youth Summit for students ages 5 – 25. The Youth Summit will bring together local and global youth to celebrate mālama honua stories and create a collective call to action for the future stewardship of our Island Earth.

Invitations to education partners and youth-serving organizations coming soon. An invitation code will be required to register for this session. Limited scholarships are being made available through partner organizations. Please contact SummitInfo@pvshawaii.org for information on how to participate.

The Inspirational Speaker Series will feature local and global courageous and inspiring people who are navigating change for our Island Earth. Featured global speakers include:

Ocean Elders: Her Deepness Sylvia Earle, Jean-Michel Cousteau, and Captain Don Walsh.
