DOE Student Video Competition to include a Mālama Honua Category

  • Posted on 15 Nov 2016
  • In Teachers

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Education (DOE) has created a Mālama Honua category for their 2017 Youth Xchange Statewide Student Video Competition. The DOE supports the Worldwide Voyage’s mission and would like to ask the question of Hawaiʻi’s students – “How do you Mālama Honua?”

In this category of the video competition, DOE is looking for the best examples from schools and students about their own journey of discovery, blending innovation and tradition in solving the challenges of our world. Submissions should be shorts of 1 to 5 minutes. See more information about the competition in the flyer below.17YXC-Malama-Honua-Doe
