Hōkūleʻa Update | June 9, 2015

Aloha everybody, today is June 9, 2015. This is Kamaki Worthington and we are sailing on our way from Brisbane to Townsville, Australia. We are just inside the Great Barrier Reef, sailing around and dodging islands making our way up. We are about 170 miles away from our first destination. We have winds out of the southeast, about 15 knots with a following swell of about 3-5 feet. Cloud cover today is between about 40%-80%. Please continue to follow us at Hokulea.com

Please help keep us sailing for future generations. All contributions make a difference for our voyage. Mahalo nui loa!
