The Polynesian Voyaging Society has sailed more than 150,000 miles over the past 40 years, and a new generation of navigators is now journeying around the world to explore how to care for our oceans and this island earth. Jack Johnson has teamed up with Rallysong.com to help raise funds for this unprecedented voyage with a new single by Chucky Boy Chock: “Nā Ho‘okele ʻŌpiopio” (The Young Navigators).

Nā Ho‘okele ʻŌpiopio was recorded with Jack Johnson and Paula Fuga in honor of Hōkūlea and her voyage to Mālama Honua (care for our earth).   The song can be purchased and downloaded at www.rallysong.com/jackjohnson, and limited collector’s items are also available.  All proceeds from the campaign will support the Worldwide Voyage.

“Hawaiʻi’s voyaging canoe, Hōkūleʻa, still sails the traditional way, without modern instruments.  When I was growing up, she and her crew helped me understand what courage is all about. With the Worldwide Voyage of Hōkūleʻa, we have a new generation of navigators exploring the earth and bringing people together to find a sustainable future.  We are proud to support them.”  –Jack Johnson
