PVS – Coronavirus Response Message

Aloha PVS Supporters,
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Polynesian Voyaging Society is taking steps to ensure the safety of our staff, crew, volunteers and visitors. Based on the health protocols recommended by the State of Hawaii, HCC, UH, and the PVS medical team, PVS will be making the following changes effective immediately until further notice:

• PVS office and METC will be closed to visitors. The staff will primarily be working remotely with limited time in the office. Staff will continue to respond to emails, calls and merchandise orders, however, there may be a delay in response due to the modified operations of the office.
• All drydock and volunteer activities are cancelled until further notice.
• All crew training will be cancelled until further notice.

Despite these temporary changes, the PVS team is continuing to work and prepare for future engagements with the community. We are grateful for your continued support and appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.
