Hōkūleʻa first mate Hauʻoli Smith Gurtler reports on the last day of education outreach in Whangarei before the waʻa sail to Auckland.

We are currently moored at Whangarei Port where much excitement has been spurred by the presence of Hōkūle'a and Hikianalia.
