Hangout | Tahiti-Hawaii School Connection with Shantell DeSilva

Through Google Hangouts, Hōkūleʻa apprentice navigator Jenna Ishii connects with a class in Tahiti and with a Kamehameha Schools summer class in Kapalama, Hawaiʻi. Ishii shares the story of how Hōkūleʻa navigators recently made their way to Papeete, Tahiti. Tahitian and Hawaiian schools trade questions and sing songs.

Through Google Hangouts On Air, we are able to bring classrooms from around the globe with us on the Mālama Honua Worldwide Voyage.
