Dr. Tenn-Salle serves as Medical Officer onboard the canoe. To her, Hōkūleʻa exemplifies the ability of us all to take what makes us human and share it with the world. She hopes that, through the Worldwide Voyage, Hōkūleʻa can spread aloha around the world. While sailing, Dr. Tenn-Salle misses ice cold smoothies and back on land she misses starry, starry nights.
