Dr. Dickran Boranian has lived on a small coffee farm in Holualoa on Hawaiʻi Island for over 26 years where he and his wife, Linda, have raised their 3 boys. Dr. Boranian was introduced to Hōkūleʻa through his relationship with Herb Kane for over 10 years. Dr. Boranian has sailed on several different multi-hulled vessels and loves to be on the ocean whenever possible. He has a passion for sailing, surfing, kayaking and fishing. All of these activities are missed when he is at home on his coffee and bamboo farm.
