Isaiah first sailed on Hōkūleʻa in 2010. To him, Hōkūleʻa represents the past, present and future. Through the Worldwide Voyage, Isaiah hopes that Hōkūleʻa can inspire more sustainable living at home and abroad. While out at sea, Isaiah craves the knowledge and lessons he learns from land. While back on land, he equally misses the lessons he learns from the ocean. Isaiah loves to learn so he can teach what he has learned to future generations.
