Hōkūleʻa means everything to Moku and he first sailed on her from Nawiliwili to Makua. His dream is that the Worldwide Voyage can inspire everyone to go sailing. While at sea, Moku most appreciates learning, teaching and surviving on the ocean. When back on land, Moku misses the simplicity and pure rawness of Mother Nature.
